Weekly Paragraph

 Students are expected to write a paragraph almost every week: 

 Mondays – students brainstorm ideas for their paragraph

Tuesdays – students write a sentence for each brainstorm idea (numbered),  and write an effective opening and closing sentence

Wednesdays – students write a rough draft of their paragraph

Thursdays – students use peers to revise and edit their work

Fridays – students hand in their paragraphs

Exemplary Exemplars:

Here we will be posting some examples of student work.  It will be a small snapshot of the great things these students are capable of.

We have been reviewing the elements of a good paragraph, including: good opening sentences, good closing sentences, well organized thoughts, interesting vocabulary, and a variety of sentences.  Here are some great examples of what the students have been producing!  They are a fun read 🙂
